Experienced, Effective, and Independent Leadership!

Aaron Harber
University of Colorado

As a parent of a CU student, former member of a major university’s governing board of trustees (Princeton), and a nonpartisan media professional, I hope to use my skills and background to help Higher Education at CU and throughout Colorado.  Our statewide system needs expert & bold leadership to address issues such as exploding student loan debt, lack of transparency in decision-making, and the need to reduce administrative bureaucracy — all as part of taking on the severe challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.

My Objectives as University of Colorado Regent

Aaron at home on his East Boulder County farm where he has helped raise many puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
  • Enhance and ensure the value of a college degree
  • Create greater accountability, administrative efficiency, and public transparency at every level
  • Freeze tuition, end petty fees, and provide better support for Faculty & Graduate Students
  • Tackle the Student Loan dilemma and increase Financial Aid opportunities
  • Expand outreach & accessibility while creating a more welcoming environment
  • Increase community support by communicating the value of higher education to everyone in our State
  • Create the “Team Colorado” partnership by bringing together all of our higher education institutions
  • Build bi-partisan political support for vital programs to improve our schools
  • Create a model for true sustainability and cost-effectiveness on all four campuses
Roscoe is the campaign’s official mascot. He oversees the office and wants to meet Ralphie!

Support experienced, effective, and independant leadership to help CU students and their families!
